Our portfolio for Harrison Holgate begins in 2006, when we were approached by the director of the company for consultation on design and development of a website. The website had to have certain functionality, and we had strict deadlines to meet.

Harrison Holgate is an Insurance Recruitment company; they specialise in matching the right job for the right candidate around the London area. Subsequently, they need a professional site to match, and it had to have the following functionality:

• Content Management System
• Job Alerts
• Job Enquiry System
• Integration with their software for uploading of jobs
• Good Search Engine Optimisation

We worked hard with Harrison Holgate to put together the site that was not only highly professional, but also extremely functional. We developed the Content Management System for their 'Career Guide' section, and quickly worked with their data format to integrate the jobs into our system.

With careful thought as to page structure, we designed the job viewing system so that for each job the user views, the title and meta descriptions match the job the user is looking for. For many of the jobs on Harrison Holgate - a search for the job title and location brings Harrison Holgate to the top 10 results in Google.

The job alerts system was one of the most complex systems we implemented for Harrison Holgate. The registered user is able to select almost any combination of job search preferences, and have them stored in our database. When Harrison Holgate upload a new job, it processes that information and sends out alerts to all candidates that have preferences matching the criteria of that job.

We are still working with Harrison Holgate, adding in extra functionality where required, and providing them with Email services.

The Email services we provide include Anti-Virus and Anti-SPAM filtering, meaning even though Harrison Holgate have their Email address on in plain text on their contact pages, the amount of SPAM they receive is limited.
